There is a post on the VIPD Facebook page that states 5 armed men were involved. I am honestly a bit shocked this happened at the Westin and early in the evening (9:45pm). We are considering our 4th trip to St John in early May BUT we may want to explore other islands as well. The things we love about St John-Gallows Point being right on the water with a sunset view and walk to town. National Park and hiking. The Beaches and snorkeling. Mountains and views. The Upstairs Bar is where the former Doghouse Pub was. It’s a fun space and they’ve added plenty of fans to keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward place featuring hot dogs and tater tots. This is run by the team that runs The Windmill Bar. The totchos are a huge serving and had leftovers with breakfast.

Just visited Denis Bay- not a great path to carry much- narrow and slippery in spots with trees so you have to duck at times, but it's doable if you had to I suppose.
