The unassigned will stand still in the middle of the atrium, crowded together, and they refuse to travel very far for anything, so unless you use mods to improve settler pathing (which I strongly reccomend) don't bother building anything in any of the far way sections.not sure what I did but every now and then that vault 88 trunk refills with 10-15 jump suits and 10 pip boys.
